hi
i have 4g a bit of water damaged , but board is very clean.
as soon as i insert battery , phone is auto turn on.
all flex files are disconected and new screen only connected.
any ideas ?

    i have some cases like u, and already fix after replace data flex ribbon.

    o.k can you tell me where this part of the board ?

    also phone auto goes out off sleep every 30 sec when its turned on.

    friend each button have a varistor for ESD dissipation find in schematic that is connected to power button and remove (that is safe).title=wink

    Check R82 and R84 near dock connector.
