Hold the Download Mode combo (Volume Down+ Homebutton+ powerbutton) until the phone goes black dead and let go of all buttons, once you let go a hidden menu will come up called Maintenance Mode menu. choose #5 to turn on USB debugging. after that put phone back into download mode and try to reset FRP Along with Z3x.

rnit is very important to let go of all buttons at the same time when the screen is off.

    rnGood Luck!

I never tried this model before but PE1 firmware I think too new for box. Also Verizon firmware impossible to find. Really much safer now this model to use paid server to do. Lots of people to it for $10 or less.

    nSaw this in android recovery.

  8. tavenger52 says:

Give up and use the paid service on this one

nI know the best way to learn is to be brave and screw things up and fix them but these Verizon XXXV models are impossible to find firmwares or root solutions for . You goof something up you will NEVER find the eng-sboot or files to fix it. This one better just pay the $10 and let them do by server.

nHave a good heat gun to separate the LCD????

nit is very important to let go of all buttons at the same time when the screen is off.

nThis doesn’t seem to have any effect the process still times out Waiting for ADB (although I did confirm ADB could see the phone). Same result when trying to Reset Pattern Lock. This looks like a bug, because I tried selecting SM-G935V and the phone does restart, but still times out at Waiting for ADB. Anyone have any luck Along with this?

  12. killu says:

I finally got this to work. There is a bug in the program as after it writes file to phone it should restart, but it doesn’t. After the write I forced the phone to reboot and after several attempts it completed the program and FRP or Pattern lock can be removed. I booted into Safe Mode, I turned on USB Debugging in the service menu (mentioned above), so not sure exactly what the right sequence was, but it did work.
