Hi, Im a newbie wanting to learn troubleshooting boards and board repairs. I came to understand that I want to learn how to read schematics to be efficient in troubleshooting. Currently, Im browsing the forums for iPhones hardware problem and solution. Double checking them on schematics to have a better understanding why particular components are the source of said problem.

Im seeking to learn a total understanding of schematics so I will be asking a lot of dumb question. But I do know that Google is my friend and I will not be asking question that can be googled. I understand any to be helped from any of the people here is out of goodwill and nobody owns me anything. A thank you is all I can give if anyone to be helpeds.

My first question is, I come across a lot of lines that says PWR. For example PWR500, PWR100 or PWR10 what does it mean?

In apples shematics there are a lot of abbreviations you cant understand. You schould think of just 2 type of lines. Voltage and data lines. The lines for voltage are often bold or you see which voltage it has. So you can measure the voltage on these lines. On data lines you measure if open or the components bad. If everything ok you change the ics. Just follow the lines and the numbers
