ok folks, another ipad mini, digitizer and home button all working. (soldered by myself)
ipad powers up and can be shut down via power button when pressed and held. but sleep/wake function of the power button is not working? there is no option for power button adjustment in options as I have read on here. apart from this ipad mini is working fine.
any ideas of where I may of gone wrong?

    ur home flex is not soldered correctly or its damage. or worst touch screen flex is damage.

    I re done all my soldering and sleep button is now working but now ive got the digitizer working all by itself 🙁 kinda gone from okish to worse lol

    Just a little update for anyone else, the sleep wake button can work Along without home button soldered. as ive just found out. de soldered home button and no more digitizer working by itself. I went over my digitizer soldered pads Along with a heat gun to reflow them. digitizer now seems fine, just the home button to fix 🙂

    There is a way to check Along with a tester if the problem is u2 ic?
