iPad Mini Retina LCD Issues on Replacement – looking for proper solutions of iphone software or hardware issue

I am attempting to replace the LCD, but I am on the third replacement LCD, but each has a very similar defect. Or at least I think that it is a defect.

I power up the iPad Along with the new LCD connected, and there is a image of a 6 or G in black near one corner. On the first replacement LCD, it was in the top left, but the two subsequent replacements had the same apparent defect in the lower right.

Are there any POST or other types of errors that display in the LCD directly? The character shows up Along with the apple logo – it is always present when the screen is on. Has anyone experienced similar issue – I hate to return this latest one to the supplier if the error is correctable or not in the LCD itself.

Thanks for any to be helped.

Update: When I perform a screen capture in IOS, the character (6 or G) does not show up, so this is not in the screen buffers. I assume that this means the character is indeed in the screen itself.

And I have the color wrong – it is red pixels. It does disappear when the screen is displaying black, but also disappears when screen is displaying red. So this appears to be turning on individual sub-pixels, not at the pixel level. Again suggesting a true LCD defect.
