1: On the iPad Model A1454 remove the resistor r1204 and make jumper on place of r1205. On the Model A1455 (MM) delete resistors r1204, r1205 and make jumper on place of r1205.

2: iPad will enter DFU mode.
3: Connect the tablet to your PC or Mac.
4: After that you want to restore the tablet through iTunes Along with firmware of Wi-Fi model and activate using the official method.

    mine was the same detected as apple tv

    Yup to solve the issue of ipad mini1 detecting as Apple Tv
    Make a jumper at the place of r1205 , and delete r1204 title=wink
    Oh yes tested 100% by myself title=smile

    I have an iPad mini a1454 I removed the resistor R1204 and then detected as apple tv proce do r1205 jumper and then we stopped firing, any ideas?
