During restore of a iphone 4 iTunes is giving me error 2:
at first i thought it was software related but now i am not so sure anymore.

i already tried :

2 different PCs
a macbook
latest version of iTunes
latest software.
Restore fom DFU
new Docking flex
new battery
bare logicboard + docking flex.

Still error 2

  1. Wela says:

    Try initiating restore again :
    1. Disable all security while restoring
    2. Change USB ports, or use a different dock connector to USB cable.
    3. If using dock connect directly to the white Apple USB dock connector cable.
If the issue still persist then try these steps to resolve the issue: :title=confused:
1.Connect the device to iTunes, confirm that the device is in Recovery Mode.
2.Restore and wait for the error.
    3.When prompted, click OK.
4.Close and reopen iTunes while the device remains connected.
5.The device should now be recognized in Recovery Mode again.
    6.Try to restore again.

Hope this works for you title=smile
