Hi Friends,

I am a first time poster to this forum. I have read the forums for a while though and they have been really to be helpedful. I have been given a phone to look at that has a cracked Digitiser/LCD. However when I pulled the back off I have noticed that they have broken off multiple components from the board. I tested most of the phones functions and I cannot find anything wrong. Basically I am wondering what exactly they would cause to stop working/have issues, some appear to be part of the GPS signal filter. The components have the following IDs on the schematic:

U21_RF, C46_RF, C47_RF, C48_RF, C49_RF and R2_RF.

Any to be helped would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

They are all part of your GSM signal. They will all want to be replaced to get it to function again.

    Thanks,

I assumed that was the case, I did some more looking in to the schematic and they seem to be specifically for the 850MHz signal if I am reading it correctly :P.

can i use any other fuses or can i just make jumper

kindly to be helped me can i make jumper or no??

  5. newComer says:

You can NOT jumper caps! If you do so, youll make a short.

R2_RF is a resistor Along with 50 ohms and goes to gnd. Dont know if a jumper is possible. U21_RF seems to be a filter. Dont know if you can easily jumper pins 2 and 4.
