iphone 5 battery replacement question , new ios stuck

I just replaced the batter in my iphone 5 successfully. However, I didnt replace the metal plate covering the connections to the top of the phone, mainly because at my age I cant see well enough to get those microscopic screws into the holes, plus my hands are too unsteady. It works fine but what is the likelihood that the connectors will come off Along without the plate screwed down on top of them?

Not much difference, but if you drop your iPhone it may get disconnected. Then you have to open it again. title=smile
