iphone 5 black screen vibrating after screen replacement – looking for proper solutions of iphone malfunctioning or other issue help please
I bought a white iPhone 5 replacement digitizer screen. Carefully moved the camera and home button over, attatched it and powered the phone up. It worked perfectly, however the home button was slightly off, so I shut it off and took of the screen and adjusted the home button.
I should mention I didnt reattatch it right there, I brought it home. I took good care of it, so I dont think anything broke but I could be wrong.
At home I tried reattatching the mew screen and it remained black. When I plugged it into iTunes, it does reconize the phone. It will either vibrate or make a notification noose every coulpe of seconds when plugged in.
So at this point I am assuming and kinda hoping I just damaged the. display. The owner of the phone stupidly threw the old display out, but I order a new one that is supposed to get to me quickly. Do you think I just damaged the display cables or something went wrong?
I tried holding the home and lock button for a while.. didnt seem to do anything
The phone isnt synced to my itunes so I am hesitant about restoring it, but I can probably back it up usong some other service. If restoring is what I want to do I can do that. Right now all I have is a black screen
