iPhone 5 logic board busted, fix $ new ios ios/hardware , assistance please
Hey, first post!
So, long story short i got my hands on to a used iPhone 5 16gb which is 2 years old and it wasnt opening up except to recovery mode when plugged in. had to replace the dead battery first to get rid of error 21, but now theres error 9 when i try to restore, also if i set auto-boot true its just infinite apple logo loop. Have tried Along with many different computers, cables, iOS versions and same end result.
also, shouldnt the phone show battery image when its off and plugged in? because mine boots up to recovery mode the minute i plug it in to wall. so im thinking does it even charge the battery?
Anyway, i opened up the phone today and discovered that im missing some stuff next to the U2 IC, whatever theyre called by their official name
!! Err, i cant post links because i have low post count? check the diagram!
Logic board is missing DZ13 and DZ14, which is most likely the cause of not restoring/booting up.
is there a way to fix this or do i just throw the phone to the trash bin? not going to use any money on this, like say new logic board since i got this as a little side project to see if i can revive it! the broken pieces can not be found. probably broken off when the phone has dropped? frame does have a few bumbs like it has dropped to asfalt or something.
