iPhone 5 no display, help identify missing components – bundle of problems ! old iphone set problem

Me the sucker, bought this iPhone believing what the seller said… it detects in iTunes and boots up, but shows nothing on the screen.

I noticed there are parts missing near the battery connector, looks like the fool has damaged them while changing the battery.

I would like to know if the missing parts are related to the screen not working, and also what is the recommended action? Do they want to be replaced, or can I do a bodge and just solder link some or all of them?

Note: The half fallen off one is now completely gone after cleaning. So its 4 missing parts now.

take these parts from another bad motherboard and solder them.. your phone reboot for this reason.. because He doesnt see the battery.. After if problem of screen will be present, if itunes will found your iphone you will have to check accuracy another area for screen problem..

Im good at soldering, just not at this tiny scale. Im using an WEP 853D and having difficulty getting the solder to ball on the tip of the iron.
Any recommendations on a method that will get the job done?

I managed to solder links, and still no screen. The phone still comes up in iTunes telling me to respond on the phone to Trust xxx xxxs iPhone on the computer (which I cant do Along with no display) and it vibrates every few seconds until I unplug the cord.
I dont know if it is rebooting or has fully booted at this stage.

L42 and L41 are missing…. it appears the other parts were removed for testing and not accidentally damaged.

    Hi Nathan,
Have you checked If the connectors on the board are good ?
I yes then it could be that the touch controller ic wants looking in to or just wants a reball.
I had the same problem Along with a iphone 4s until i changed the touch controller ic
    Now working great .

Thats maybe something to look in to no ??
Ok youll find it !! Maybe it wil take some time but you wil

    Job done!
L41 and L42 replaced… well bodged up (note L41 & L42 are 2 separate parts in one), but its working.

In summary, the previous owner probably had a mishap Along with a broken screen or while replacing it and burned out multiple fusible links.
My repair is a bit rubbish and possibly dangerous if it ever develops a short somewhere.
