iPhone 5 touch issue – iphone , badly help needed problem
Received an iphone 5 to repair, basically customer has changed display and the touch is dead, displays fine.
Close inspection shows FL26 was missing, I located the FL in the phone, its tests on and resoldered back into place, touch initially worked for 5 seconds or so then stopped.
If I link this FL26 the touch has ghost touches all the time, nothing else is missing or appears damaged, fpc for digitiser is good, have tried a few screens too.
Any thoughts kindly.
reheat the touchscreen ic. it worked for me many times. but do not expect to work every time
