Iphone LCD separation Forum – need accurate way for iphone problem

On January 27, 2015, Posted by , In iPhone, With Comments Off on Iphone LCD separation Forum – need accurate way for iphone problem

Hi guys

I have a LCD separator machine and so far i have replaced only the glass/lens on several iphone 4/4s lcds. This way you can have a brand new working LCD modul for iphone 4/4s for about 10 USD or maybe less and iphone 5 can be done for about 20 USD + the time you spend

But i think its hard to find to be helped and good tutorials, so I was wondering if you guy are interested in a forum.

I will upload some videos of my work and some tutorial to the forum in short time. But i want to hear if some one is interested, because its a lot of work.

Right now i just started to setup a forum, just Along with a free subdomain, but if its a succes then i will build it up better.

kindly comment if you want me to start the forum

I have a question. I seem to have backlight problems. Even after replacement.
They look great after I put the Loca glue and cure it. A few hours later the backlight is ruined.
I take out the old backlight and wipe the lcd Along with alcohol and put a new (from a broken lcd – so used) backlight and it looks perfect again but I come back a few hours later and bam water stain again. Any ideas?

Has anyone had a perfect LOCA repair yet?

Im still fighting the yellowing around the edges. Ive pretty much given up on LOCA and am jumping to OCA + autoclave because it seems to be the only sellable solution.

Is anyone having any luck Along with a cheaper autoclave? I was thinking of purchaseing a $100-$200 unit but I dont want to waste even MORE money than I have Along with all these bad LOCA repairs.

I have heart about the yellow arround the edges. But have never had it myself.

What temperatur do you use to separate.

I have been think about a vacuum pump too. I think loca is messy.

I was thinking about using a compressor from a refrigerator

Ive been trying to refurbish all my broken iphone 4 and 5 screens Along with LOCA and to be honest its an absolute nightmare to make a good one! Ive given up because no matter how much you clean or how many times you replace the backlight, the glue finds a way in, or just when you think youve finally made a good one the bloody glue turns yellow around the edges!title=frown
I wouldnt recommend using Loca for iphones, its ok for samsung though.
I found this video on youtube for the proper way to refurbish iphone LCDs, its all done by machines, no mess but its way too expensive for small businesses like mine.title=smile

Hi.. Guys .i am a newbie in hardware repair,. Well i tried loca Along with iphone 5 and samsung also . i got a single s3 succesfull Along without any problem but just one after many tries.. Along with samsung and Along with iphone problem is determining how much amount of loca to apply … If someone can correct that would solve all problems . problem Along with thickness. Sometimes its just too much .. Problem Along with overflow from sides.. And ofcourse ruines backlight… Even tough backlight are cheap to replace… Its a problem.. Another thing is to put it in uv light for proper duration ..so that if glue is more then required then it would take more time to get sorted..for iphones might be someone can try to take apart backlight apply loca wait for a day see if loca is dryed up completely then solder backlight..
