Hello! Tried a direct unlock via USB on an old RM-333 N85 from eBay (SP lock Orange UK) but so far no good. Followed some instructions online using infinity BEST – report says its unlocked but phone remains locked:

Seting Test mode… wait…

Unlock Done!

Phone disconected!

Connect phone on selected interface…

After this the phone goes into a USB connect/disconnect cycle for about two minutes, then does a partial restart. If I pull the battery and restart the phone, the locks remain closed.

Dont mind paying a few bucks to fix this but some people are asking too much to unlock 5 year old SL2 phone.

Anyone seen this problem before?

Thanks for reading!

First / SIM card out / battery out / click READ KEY / see Tips / insert immediately battery short press the power button / read after the completion / click UNLOCK

    If not, use FBUS

Hey thanks for the quick reply. Ive tried again but the result is the same. Says its unlocked but locks remain closed. Is it possible to get the unlock code to input via keypad entry instead of direct unlock? Just wondering if the direct unlock can be expected to work if the SP lock is Orange UK.
