SMD removal question – bundle of problems ! old iphone set issue solution

Im trying to remove L2RF from an iPhone 4 board and am having difficulty, it appears to be glued on tight.

Ive tried flooding it Along with solder on both ends, tried heat gun and soldering iron but it wont budge. Nothing at all like the Nokia board I have been practicing on.

Any tips for an old school electronic technician & SMD removal n00b?
What kind of tweezers do some of you use?

  1. ExpertBuddy says:

Try using two irons on coils, they come off easily like this .

  2. ExpertBuddy says:

use hot air Along with a nozzle of ~6mm and for heat try first at 260°C and eventually go up until 280°C, it should melt after 1-2min , when the solder it is melt, remove the coil and remove immediately the hot air, to not damage surrounding components.
